Centennial activities in 2015/2016

Aarhus University is going to celebrate the history of engineering in Aarhus with many different activities from November 2015 to November 2016.

The programme will be announced on ingenioer.au.dk/100

The history of engineering in Aarhus

In November 2015, it is 100 years since the first engineering degree programme was established in Aarhus. Five talented technical college engineers were enrolled initially, but the new school expanded rapidly.

Today, we can celebrate a century during which the engineering degree programmes and the engineering research have been, and continue to be, a significant driving force in societal development.
